Studied all aspects of stage craft, lighting and scenic design

1971-present Local Street Fairs and Art Festivals (University District, Fremont,        Port Angeles, Edmonds, Bellevue, Anacortes, Ballard Seafood Fest)
1973-1989 Owned and operated pottery studio, Port Angeles, WA         Produced high-fired functional stoneware & porcelain sold in galleries and festivals throughout the Pacific NW
1980 Opened Friedman Art and Craft Gallery, Port Angeles, WA
1984 Friedman Gallery incorporated into a non-profit community art gallery that eventually became the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center
1989-1993 Studied and practiced glass techniques with noted NW production glassworkers and artists, Seattle, WA.
1997-2010 Art Handler, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle, WA.
1993-present Friedman Glassworks established, Ballard, WA.                                       Studio designed and built for the production of glass seashells.
2000-present Established ?The Port Angeles Midden?                                     Port Angeles Art Center, Port Angeles, WA                                                 5 Tons of Shilshole Seashell Shards; open to the public

 

2000-present Glass and metal consultant for art conservators both local and from around the world.  (“The Seattle Mural” by Paul Horiuchi – Seattle, WA. George and Gerard “Gerry” Tsutakawa and various local metal fabricators.)
